This is the image of an antique wax letter seal. It is an early seal and dates from the 1800's
It features a Heraldic seal. The seal features three boars head (bravery and perseverance), two swords (a fighter or warrior), a snake (rebirth and immortality) and two keys (access to property or riches).
The Latin motto states 'Diligentia Ditat'. This translates literally as 'Industry enriches.'
With bravery and perseverance hard work will always pay off.

This seal has layers of meaning and is rich in symbology, and is perfect to reminds us that the harder we work the more successful we become.
Size.....
The pendant itself measures just over 26mm across the centre and 38mm long including the bail.. This can alter slightly however due each piece being made individually by hand.
Each link and jump ring has been soldered with sterling silver solder, so you don't have to worry about loosing your piece.

Wax Seal Jewelry......
Each piece offered for sale is an imprint or cast of an antique wax seal from my personal collection. I use 100% sterling silver as this has the strength and durability needed for a piece of jewelry that is to be worn for years. All the jumps rings, clasps etc, are also sterling silver and each part is soldered, also for strength and durability. My intention is to make a piece that could become an heirloom too and for it to last generations.
Each piece is individually handmade and therefore no two pieces will be exactly the same, they will however be extremely similar. The mark of the maker has been purposely left on the casts. The signs of age, cracks and tool marks all add to the charm of the piece and are an intentional feature.
