This adorable and quirky Victorian pointing hand was cast from an original that is in my own personal collection. This one is in solid (not hollow). 9 carat yellow gold (this is not plated or coated or vermeil, it is solid 9ct gold)
Victorians loved their disembodied hands and they were full of sentimental symbolism. this tiny hand is pointing downwards. Perhaps a blessing from the almighty?
The charm measures 25mm x 7.58mm and weighs 2.46 grams of solid 9 carat gold including the bail ring.
The details of the hand are subtle yet quite realistic and this makes it very sweet yet slightly creepy ( quintessentially Victorian if you ask me ).
Detailed on both sides it is certain to be a great conversation starter and will definitely be noticed.
this little charm is also available in sterling silver. You can find it here:

Although there is more than one hand in some of the pictures this listing is for 1, 9 carat gold hand only.
